Central Parents! Please take extreme caution the next two mornings while driving on West 1st by Central. It's very dark out and there is a city light out. It's very hard to see kids crossing the street.
Central Parents: It's a busy but great week! Book Fair is better than expected and you'll enjoy the prices ($3, $5, $10 books). Money raised will go back to the classrooms and field trips. Book Fair Open today 3:30-4:00, Wednesday 2-8PM, Thursday 8-3. Petting Zoo here for free on Wed 5-7PM. PTC are this week!
Central Reminder: Tuesday, October 1, students will be going to the movie "The Wild Robot" at the theater in the afternoon. We are asking $5 to help offset that cost. We are covering the rest! Please have it turned in by Monday, 9/30! PTC's are next week! If you do not know your day/time, contact the school.

1) OPEN HOUSE: Tuesday, 5-6 PM. Drop off supplies, find your classroom, desk, meet your teacher
2) First day of school for kids is Wednesday. Wednesday & Thursday are both 2:00 Dismissals.

*Be looking for an email/text today about "Rooms" and how to enroll (it should contain an enrollment code for each of your school-aged children)
Central's Open House will be from 5-6PM. Yes, it's the same time as McCook Elementary. However, Open House shouldn't take long for each classroom (5-15 minutes). Come find your classroom, meet your teacher, and drop off your school supplies! Stop and get your picture taken with the Central backdrop!

Tomorrow: 4th Grade Wax Museum (2-3PM) @Central Elementary! 5th graders will be going to Red Willow Lake for some outdoor education at 8:30 and will return before the school day is out (Please talk to them about bringing their lunch)!
